My parents bought this unit from Sears when I was a kid.
All of those knobs had a really peculiar feel — a gritty , sticky , thunk. Funny the stuff you remember. But they had a uber shiny finish , looks expensive.
This stuff was expensive for the time, and was absolute JUNK. Those speakers were amazingly crappy fiberboard.
Only saving grace is the digital tuner which was sophisticated technology at that time.
Do people even have separate stereos anymore?
